Starters That Set the Tone
Begin your culinary journey with their delectable Aperitivos. The Pastelito De Cangrejo features pan-seared crab cakes paired with an enticing jicama-cucumber-avocado relish, while the Ceviche Tradicional delivers a fresh burst of tilapia marinated in citrus, making it a perfect tease for your palate. I was particularly taken by the Taquitos De Pollo, boasting a rich barbacoa flavor complemented by vibrant pickled onions and creamy nuances.
Hearty Main Courses
As for main dishes, Las Palmas has something for every craving. The Platillos Fuertes include the pan-seared Alaskan Salmon with a sweet potato risotto that provides a sublime contrast to the fish's rich flavor. The Cochinita Pibil, featuring slow-roasted pork shoulder wrapped in banana leaves, offers an authentic Mexican experience that truly speaks to my soul. Each bite is bursting with complex flavors that showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients.
Something for Everyone
Las Palmas also caters to those seeking lighter options. The limited vegetarian fare, like the Enchayotadas filled with grilled veggies bathed in a creamy salsa, delivers a delightful flavor profile without overwhelming the senses. Families will find variety in their offerings, ensuring even the pickiest eaters leave satisfied.
Relaxed Yet Lively Atmosphere
The casual ambiance, coupled with moderate noise levels, creates a perfect setting for relaxing meals with friends and family. With a full bar, including Happy Hour specials, there's something to quench every thirst as you indulge in delicious food. Plus, the dog-friendly policy means you can even enjoy a meal with your furry friend by your side!

We were headed back home from Joshua Tree and were feeling Mexican so we stopped here. The parking lot is huge and I'd say the restaurant is big too. We had just missed the Sunday brunch and I was sad because it looked good too. It seems like it is a Buffett style with staple Mexican dishes and breakfast items. We were sat on the other side of the restaurant as they separate the two and we ordered very quickly. The food came out quick and the portions are huge. The chips and salsa were brought out first and the first batch is complimentary. The salsa was delicious and the horchata tasted great too. The burrito was good but I wouldn't say memorable by any means. I added a bunch of stuff to it for my own personal liking but ended up taking half home because it was so big. The kids taquitos plate was big for my daughter and I added guac and sour cream for her. My cousin got the torta and fries and she liked it and ate it all and the fries were very good. Good find but nothing we'd ever drive back out for. The service was fast but the server seemed so busy and wasn't too personable or friendly. The bathrooms were clean and it seemed like they were very busy for the Sunday brunch.

The new location is nice and the food is great. It comes out very fast and the wait staff is very nice. This is are favorite Mexican place in town. I always get the shrimp tacos the they are the bomb.

The food here was really good, it had very great flavor! The salsa was sooooo good! The service was excellent as well. Our server was very patient and helpful at suggesting drinks. When we arrived, it seemed pretty quiet, but then the dinner rush arrived and the vibe was awesome! There was even love music. 10/10 will definitely be back!

We walked in accidentally from Tesla charger, and were very pleasantly surprised. It was Sunday breakfast buffet, so we decided to try it mostly because we've never had Mexican breakfast buffet before. It was amazing, had all your favorites in the best quality. Hopefully pictures show how good it was.

Very solid Mexican restaurant with a friendly staff, ample seating, an extensive menu, great Happy Hour specials, gigantic cocktail options (regular sizes too), and -- last but not least -- yummy food. Easy staples like quesabirria and quesadillas are good with plenty of meat. Plates are great and their sauces are tasty. Rice is just okay but the refried beans are SO good, probably the best around. The shrimp cocktail is tasty but could use more shrimp. Chili Verde anything is my favorite. They also now deliver!

This is a great choice for authentic Mexican in the area. We had fish tacos, chile relleno, chicken tamale, and enchiladas. Everything was delicious and the service was very good.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good comfort Mexican food at reasonable prices, with friendly service. We were starving by the time we got into town, and we did a u-turn when we saw this place. We love our homey Mexican food and it delivered! It was well-worn but clean, and we were greeted warmly as we walked in. I started things off with a nice cold Michelada, which was huge (see my photo), and decided to get their Friday special, which was shrimp enchiladas with beans and rice. The hubby got the Vegetable Tostada, which came in a classic giant shell. Their complimentary chips and salsa were great, with light crispy chips and a decent heat to the salsa. We both thought the food was good and it really hit the spot. Service was friendly and efficient throughout. Their AC didn't extend beyond the dining room, however, so on the way to the bathroom I did get a blast of the desert heat, but overall a very nice visit. We will be back!
